Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The contribution must be original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated by other journal.
  • The files for submission have to be in the Word format (and cannot be larger than 10 MB).
  • Reference URLs must be informed when possible.
  • It is necessary that the metadata (orcid, link lattes, short biography and affilitions) of ALL authors be added.
  • The text must follow the format and bibliographic requirements informed in Authors Guidelines, in the window About the Journal.
  • The instruction available in Assuring Double-Blind Review must be follow

Author Guidelines

1. GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED

The article submitted to the Journal Public Administration Practics must be unprecedented, not being/already been submitted to another Journal in Brazil or overseas. Works published in annals of Scientific meetings (such as seminars, conferences, symposiums) are considered unprecedented.

Works in English, Spanish and Portuguese are accepted. 

Authors' identification will be restricted to the system registering, and not present along the submitted article. We highlight the attention in completing the metadata when filling the registering information (authors' full names, addresses, contact number, and other information that may be asked).

The submissions may exclusively be made through the Journal's online submission system, in the website. Any articles sent by email, mail or any other way will not be accepted.

 

1.1 Formatting

The articles sent to the Journal PAP must be made in Microsoft Word 2003 or superior versions, in format doc or docx.

Regarding formatting, follow what is presented in the template.

Every author who has their articles accepted for publishing in the Journal Public Administration Practices must include the Copyright Declaration, in which they forgive the Journal their right to first be publish, with the work also licensed under Creative Commons Atribuição-NãoComercial-CompartilhaIgual 4.0 Internacional.
