Focus and Scope
The Journal Práticas de Administração Pública - PAP (ISSN 2526-6292) has as its scope to contribute for the debate and general awareness regarding: Governance and Public Administration, Economic Policies and Government Planning, Public Accounting, Economic Law and Organizations Sociology, Public Policies and more.
The Journal is open to national and international contributions of all areas of knowledge focused on effectiveness and public action equity, highlighting Administration and Development; Public Administration, Human, Social and Applied Social Sciences; Organizational Studies; Social Management; Social Movements; Public Policies.
Its mission is to further advance the knowledge borders in the Public Administration area through publishing articles that focus on further exploring the mechanisms and actions for a more efficient and less bureaucratic Public Management, thus contributing to the country's socioeconomic development, bettering of national ethical policies and for the inserting of the country in the international framework.
The Práticas em Administração Pública Journal is an eletronic periodic with a four month flow, which focuses on promoting production inside the area, make the technologies developed by the academia public and contribute to the development of instruments that facilitate the diffusion and evaluation of this production.
Peer Evaluation Process
The works submitted are first evaluated by section editors, that determine if the work is adequate for the scope of the journal and the section that it has been submitted for. The manuscripts selected in this first step will be evaluated through a double blind peer review, that is, two ad hoc partners from different institutions of the authorship will evaluate the article. The works approved by two partners will be considered approved. In case of conflict between reviewers, the article will be sent to a third partner.
The author will be informed about the result of the evaluations. Eventual form or content alternations suggested by the partners will be referred back to the author, who must resend the final version of the article with the proposed changes.
Periodicity
The Journal PAP - Práticas de Administração Pública adopts the continuous flow. The periodicity up to 2022 was from every four months.
Open Access Policy
The Journal offers free and immediate access to its contents following the principle that free availability of scientific knowledge to the public proposes a wider democratization of knowledge.
