José Renato Ferraz da Silveira, Federal University of Santa Maria

He has been an Associate Professor IV in the Department of Economics and International Relations at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) since 2009. PhD in Social Sciences (Politics) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2009). Masters in Social Sciences (Politics) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2005). BA in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2001). Degree in History from the Lutheran University of Brazil. Incomplete degree in Philosophy from the University of São Paulo. Coordinator of the International Relations course - 2012-2018 - at the Federal University of Santa Maria. Leader of the Theory, Art and Politics Group (GTAP). Leader of the Oswaldo Aranha Study Group (GEOA). Digital columnist for Diário de Santa Maria. Participant in the Sala de Debate program on Tv Diário and Rádio CDN. Columnist for the Obvious blog.
