Abstract

The aims of these paper is the study of the chances of consolidation in the South American midwest as a International touristic route from the perspective of Tourism, integration and culture. Approach as well, the possibilities that this activity has to exercise its role during the consolidation of tourist route: Pacific Pantanal Route - The Greatest Adventure of the Americas. Approach to the role of the university, which has the responsibility to generate knowledge.This project was born within the academy, a Post-Graduate Program - Master's degree in Geography / UFMT. The expected is the participation of governments in this process to develop policies and strategies to support private sector, nothing more. And the private sector, supported by the governments and information and studies generated by the academies, to encourage investment and construction of support structures, and the tourism products of the route, creating a long-awaited integration and development
