Taking into consideration the fact that the horizontal residential condominiums occupy large areas that can be planned as a whole, and also that the existence of vegetation is an attractive for the sale of these constructions, it was made a study about the tree cover and fragment which were presented in sixteen horizontal residential condominiums located in Santa Felicidade District, Curitiba - Paraná. The evaluation was carried out according the parameters proposed by Valaski (2008) : > 25% (positive); between 20% and 25% (average); and < 20% (negative). The characterization of the fragments was made inspired in Jim’s job (1989), classifying it in: connected fragments, isolated fragments or disperse individuals. From the sixteen condominiums evaluated only two of them had a positive evaluation.Downloads
