The book “Bidenomics in the tropics”, written by André Roncaglia and Nelson Barbosa, aims to make economists and public administrators aware of what the Joe Biden administration is doing, in the economic sphere of the United States, to strengthen its industry based on strong public investments. This work proves to be one of the most important in recent years on developmentalism. The title makes reference to “in the tropics” precisely because it invites readers to reflect on how Biden’s economic measures can be an example when debating the reindustrialization of Brazil.
