Abstract

In 1979 Syd Field wrote "the Book of the Script", since then, a job of obligatory reading for scriptwriters and students of image from all around the world. In his text, Field states the paradigm of the cinemato- graphic structure that explains, with luxury of details, the moments of a story from the dramatic point of view. In this text, three films of Clint Eastwood are analyzed (Million Dollar Baby, Unforgiven and Mystic River) from the structure of the three acts of Syd Field. The exposition, the confrontation and the resolution of the three stories will allow us to analyze, from the structural point, the intention of the scripts and the glance of its author.
