Abstract

This article is regarding the grand media that was given from the brazilian printed media, in 2001, on the subject of bioterrorism. Two daily news (Jornal do Commercio and Diario de Pernambuco) and three national magazines (Época, IstoÉ e Veja) had been anaylzed and what was found was that such mediatic spectacle was made regarding the case of the letters contaminated by the anthrax (Bacillus anthracis) which occured in the United States.
