Abstract

In this paper, we present a look at the configuration of Brazilian cinema in the 1960s Thus, this look is built from the observation of the consequences of the feeling of romantic-revolutionary Brazilianness forged and shared by the artistic and cultural circles in vogue at the time, more specifically, the Cinema Novo members. Therefore, it is analyzed the overlap between aesthetic-cultural and socio-political processes and the related search for national identity in cinema

É professor adjunto do curso de Relações Públicas da Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL), desde 2010. Possui graduação em Comunicação Social - Habilitação em Relações Públicas pela Universidade Católica de Pernambuco - Unicap (2001), especialização em Educação em Valores pela Universitat de Barcelona - UB (2004) e em Psicologia na Comunicação pela Pontifícia universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (2005), mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa - UCP (2005) e doutorado em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidad de Málaga - UMA (2009). É autor dos livros "Dinheiro, o passaporte para a graça neopentecostal" (2015) e "Crentes, mas nem tanto" (2016), ambos publicados pela Editora da Universidade Federal de Alagoas - Edufal.
