"Bye honey": Impeachment - magazine reading

Abstract

It is analyzed in informative magazines covers, operations of meaning production about President Dilma Rousseff’s impeachment, from a double technic-discursive work: one oriented to its external topography and the other to society. It is presented as potentialities space as it is talked about the magazine’s “way of being”, especially of developments whose intelligibility is engendered by operations that are in discursive economy. The president’s impeachment is made according to media logics and grammars, in addition to recognizing operators extracted and resignified from several discursive tissues. The covers go beyond exhibiting up-to-dateness, they operate enunciations manifesting even pre-judgment.
