The research aims to diagnose the productive and organizational capacity of women seamstresses who participate in the Sacramenta Socioambiental project, in Belém do Pará, to identify essential aspects for the future formation of a cooperative. The research adopts a qualitative approach and the case study technique. Bardin's content analysis with thematic emphasis is used for data analysis. The survey results show the level of organizational capacity (3.9), innovation (3.92), production (4.17), and organizational involvement (4.19) of women, and the productive capacity of the group is quite high. representative to reinforce the potential of the future cooperative, where it was possible to identify an available space of 157,704 m², 60 sewing machines in good condition, and a capacity to produce approximately 31,375.68 pieces of low and medium complexity. It is encouraged that future research is carried out to investigate the segment of seamstress cooperatives, studying production alternatives such as upcycling or others.
