Information systems in health: challenges and possibility

This study aims to reflect on the use of Health Information Systems, its concepts, possibilities and challenges that emerge from their inclusion in health institutions. For that, we proceeded to the critical reading of various information sources that treat it. From the theoretical work done on this, it was found that the health information systems have provided important implications for the daily work of professionals in this sector. These implications can be translated into contributions, challenges and possibilities of praxis informational discussion on health. Anyway, it appears that the integration of these systems in the workplace can promote, in general, major changes related to the decision process of health workers, setting up as a supporting tool in this processDownloads
