Foco e Escopo
2.1.1- A InterAção é um periódico de divulgação acadêmico-científica, veiculada em meio digital, de periodicidade quadrimestral, que tem por finalidade:
a) publicar artigos, ensaios, resenhas, entrevistas inéditos nas temáticas compreendidas pela disciplina das Relações Internacionais.
b) promover a interdisciplinaridade, tendo como eixo as Relações Internacionais, e contribuir para o desenvolvimento e a divulgação do conhecimento científico produzido em seu escopo.
2.1.2- Concentra-se na área de análise das relações internacionais, nos âmbitos econômicos, sociais, políticos, jurídicos e culturais.
2.1.3- Comunidade que estuda, pesquisa e trabalha com relações internacionais e suas distintas e diversas vertentes.
Aims & Scope
2.1.1 InterAção is an academic and scientific journal published in digital format, with a four-month periodicity, aimed at: a) publishing original articles, essays, reviews, and interviews addressing themes within the field of International Relations; b) promoting interdisciplinarity, with International Relations as its central axis, and contributing to the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge produced within its scope.
2.1.2 The journal focuses on the analysis of International Relations in its economic, social, political, legal, and cultural dimensions.
2.1.3 InterAção is intended for the academic community engaged in the study, research, and professional practice of International Relations and its diverse approaches and perspectives.
Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares
2.2.1- O periódico é composto por artigos científicos, ensaios, resenhas e entrevistas.
2.2.2- Os pareceristas são professores ou pesquisadores que possuem o título de doutor ou mestre nas diversas áreas do conhecimento, pertencentes à comunidade interna ou externa e/ou designados pelo Conselho Editorial.
2.2.3- Cada artigo será avaliado por dois pareceristas e, caso haja discordância entre eles, um terceiro será consultado.
InterAção uses a double anonymous peer review process. All submissions are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers, external to the publishing institution.
Peer Review Process
2.2.1 The journal publishes scientific articles, essays, reviews, and interviews.
2.2.2 Reviewers are professors or researchers holding a doctoral or master’s degree in their respective fields of knowledge. They may belong to the internal or external academic community and/or be appointed by the Editorial Board.
2.2.3 Each manuscript is evaluated by two reviewers. In cases of divergent opinions, a third reviewer is consulted.
Periodicidade
Desde sua fundação, v. 1, n. 1 (2010) até o v. 11, n. 2 (2020), a InterAção adotou a periodicidade semestral.
A InterAção adotou a publicação contínua com 4 números por ano a partir de 2023.

Esta revista oferece acesso livre e imediato ao seu conteúdo, seguindo o princípio de que disponibilizar gratuitamente o conhecimento científico ao público proporciona maior democratização mundial do conhecimento.

InterAção is an open-access journal that provides immediate and free access to its content, in accordance with the principles of open science. No fees are charged for manuscript submission, processing, or publication. All published content is available online without financial, legal, or technical barriers, except those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The journal is published exclusively in digital format and follows internationally recognized editorial standards, aiming to ensure transparency, academic integrity, and broad dissemination of scientific knowledge. InterAção does not require authors to transfer copyright.
Authors retain full publishing rights, and all articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Authors are allowed to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional or subject repositories, without embargo, provided that proper citation to the original publication in the journal is given.
Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. They grant InterAção the right of first publication. Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
The journal assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to all published articles and supports ORCID as a persistent identifier for authors, ensuring accurate attribution and interoperability of metadata.
InterAção uses a double anonymous peer review process. All submissions are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers, external to the publishing institution.
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before peer review using plagiarism detection tools. In cases of suspected plagiarism, the journal follows COPE guidelines.
The journal does not charge any submission, processing, or publication fees from authors.
The journal follows international best practices in scholarly publishing, including transparency in editorial policies, peer review procedures, ethical standards, and open access principles.
The journal is archived through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
