Abstract

The objective of this research is a methodological approach in fieldwork, dealt as a pedagogic practice, inserted into the teaching planning and by reality contact to the formation of the geography professional/teacher. The methodological process followed this sequence: data collection, bibliographic research and field observation. The result has showed that the fieldwork is an important instrument in the formation of teachers, researchers and academic staff as a way to the development of territory perception in an environment less formal than of classroom. As results, it was shown the importance of fieldwork, as a didactic resource because it offers potentialities in the formation that one must take into consideration in the teaching-learning process and as a pedagogical practice accessible and efficient.
