Considering that the landscapes are composed of natural and anthropogenic elements, resulting from past and present production of space by society, this article aims to analyze the dynamics of the landscape crop land in the Vaza Barris River basin in Sergipe, from colonization to the present day, and aims to identify the landscape units and the existing human pressures on them. To this end, survey data was conducted in primary and secondary sources, demonstrating that livestock, sugar cane and cotton growing in past tense and, at present, urbanization and diversification of productive activities in the three sectors of the economy has contributed to significant changes of the local landscape.
