This study aims to identify changes in space and time in the concentrations of physicochemical variables of water in urban watersheds city Itaqui RS. In this region was analyzed concentration of dissolved oxygen, potassium, potential of hydrogen, sodium, chloride and electrical conductivity in the months from September to November 2010 and 2011. Information was submitted to statistical test Pearson correlation, and then interpolated by the algorithm "nearest neighbor" in the Spring software. The results reveal that there are three areas with distinct dynamics: 1) South: showed low concentrations of the variables; 2) Downstream of the urban area: showed high concentrations; 3) East of urban area: showed high concentrations when the quota of the Uruguay river was low (136 cm). So there is evidence that the urban area of Itaqui contributes to increasing the concentration levels of physicochemical variables analyzed in this work.Downloads
