The influence of Modernism in an attempt to solve the problems caused by urbanization

Abstract

This article has to objective discuss the urbanization process that occurred in Brazil and in the world after Industrial Revolution. This process occurred in different moments in each country, but has a lot of importance to conformation the cities and the urban problems that has today, how is the case of housing deficit. The Modernism, emerged has a reaction to transformation occurred to Revolution, also has a great signification in the urban process this period. This article will discuss mainly, to housing problems and the govern actions during the influence to Modernism in Brazil.
