New infragenera in Cypella (Iridaceae: Tigridieae)

[New infragenera in Cypella (Iridaceae: Tigridieae)]
Based on morphological and anatomical characteristics, a new infrageneric classification is proposed for Cypella Herbert. The thirty valid species are organized into the subgenera Cypella and Naïs (Ravenna) Deble. Furthermore, five sections are recognized: Cypella, Armosae Deble, Naïs Ravenna, Fasciculatae Deble, and Magnificae Deble, the first two belong to the subgenus Cypella, and the others to Naïs. Seven species listed as valid in POWO and four infragenera are excluded from Cypella with the valid names indicated for each of these taxa.
