Objective: To describe the reasons for vaccinating among Health Agents in a mixed approach study. Methods: A mixed sequential explanatory study was carried out. In the quantitative stage, data from a cross-sectional study with 175 Health Agents were used. The variables were selected and analyzed using absolute and relative frequencies using SPSS version 22 for Windows. In the qualitative stage, transcripts of an online Focus Group with six Health Agents were used, which were analyzed using Bardin's thematic content analysis. Results: Data from the quantitative and qualitative stages converged, in general, and the reasons for getting vaccinated can be categorized into accessibility, stimuli for action, trust, susceptibility and information. Final Considerations: This study brings to light data on a category of health workers that is still very little studied, using mixed methodology, expanding the understanding of the research problem.
