Wind energy is a renewable energy source obtained from the force of the wind, standing out as a sustainable alternative in electricity production. This work aimed to understand, in a practical and meaningful way, the functioning of wind energy and its application in urban contexts. The methodology was based on guided research, analysis of educational materials, and the construction of a model representing a wind farm integrated into a sustainable city, using recyclable materials. As a result, the development of student leadership, teamwork, and environmental awareness was observed, in addition to the expansion of students' scientific knowledge. It is concluded that practical and investigative activities favor meaningful learning and contribute to the formation of more conscious citizens committed to sustainability.
