Abstract

We constantly question ourselves about the beginnings of the universe, its origin, immensity and more and more scientific instruments help us understand these factors. In this article we seek to comprehendthe technological and scientific innovations promoted by the James Webb telescope and how they contribute to the understanding of the universe. To answer our research problem and outline the objectives of the article, we carried out a qualitative research, through articles developed on the subject. The telescope was able to record a historic milestone by viewing the oldest galaxy and star ever documented. Considering these advances, it is undeniable that the James Webb telescope will still bring several advances to humanity and revolutionize space science with discoveries about the Universe.

Samanta Bordignon, Colégio Sinodal Barão do Rio Branco

Graduated in Biology at the Lutheran University of Brazil - Campus Cachoeira do Sul/RS. Specialization in Public Health from the Methodist University Center of IPA. Graduated in Pedagogy at UNINTER. Science Teacher at the Municipal Public Network, working at E.M.E.F. Dr. Getúlio Vargas, and Private at Colégio Sinodal Barão do Rio Branco. In schools, Science Fairs encourage research using the scientific method and Ecological Games encourage the correct disposal of waste, social engagement and reduction of waste production.
