In this work, a numericalsimulation was carried out for diffusion flames of hydrogen inside a rectangular burner. Therefore, Navier-Stokesreactive equations were applied, mixture fraction for the flow and for the chemical part the flamelet method. Forthe modeling of turbulence, the known technique was used as large-eddy simulation (LES), and the finite differencemethod to discretize the equations. Simplifications were also carried out in terms of the equations to reduce thecomplexity of the problem.
